Referencing Chambers

[Adding references to chambers]


To add a reference to a chamber, follow these steps:


  1. Select a Chamber:

    • Ensure you are out of 'Edit Mode' to interact with existing chambers.

    • Left-click an existing chamber to highlight it.

  2. Enter Reference or Invert Level:

    • Once highlighted, you can enter the reference for the chamber using your keyboard.

    • Press the 'Tab' key to switch to the Invert level field and enter a value for this.

    • The Invert Level will be displayed just below the reference.

  3. Alternatively:

    • Right-click the chamber to access "Chamber Properties."

    • Within the properties menu, you can enter the reference and Invert level fields.


 

Referencing Lines

To add a reference to a Line, follow these steps:


  1. Select a Line:

    • Ensure you are out of 'Edit Mode' to interact with existing Lines.

    • Right-click an existing line to enter "Line Properties".

  2. Enter Size, material, Length:

    • Within the "Line Properties" Menu you will be able to input the Size, Material & Length of the pipe which will display accordingly

    • The Pipe reference will angle with the line automatically


 

Text Properties

[Changing the style of references]


You can adjust the style of any text in DrainPlan following this method:


  1. Select Text:

    • Ensure you are out of 'Edit Mode' to interact with Text.

    • Left-click to select the Text.

  2. 2. Text Properties:

    • Upon selecting text, the Text Editor will appear in the top left next to the Environment Tab.

    Modifying Text:

    Once the Text Editor is visible, utilize the following options:

    • Change Size: Adjust the size of the selected text.

    • Change Color: Modify the color of the selected text.

    • Set Bold: Apply bold formatting to the selected text.

    • Set Italics: Apply italic formatting to the selected text.

    • Set Underline: Apply underline formatting to the selected text.

    • Set Highlight: Add a background behind text. You can customize the color.
