Save Drawing
[How to save your drawing]
To Save your drawing in DrainPlan, follow this method:
Save Drawing Button:
Navigate to the "File" Menu in the top right and locate the "Save" or "SaveAs" options.
'File' -> 'Save' or 'Save As'.
Saving with "Save":
When selecting 'Save', it will automatically save the drawing if there is an existing file path; otherwise, it will prompt you to enter a file name and destination.
Saving with "SaveAs":
When selecting 'SaveAs', it will prompt you to enter a name for the file & select a destination to where you want the file to save to.
DrainPlan uses a custom saving system, when saving your drawings it will save as a ".Drainage" file. This file can only be opened using DrainPlan Software.
Load Drawing
[How to load your drawing]
To Load your drawing in DrainPlan, follow this method:
Load Drawing Button:
Navigate to the "File" Menu in the top right and locate the "Open Drawing" or "Open Recent Drawing" options.
'File' -> 'Open Drawing' or 'Open Recent Drawing'.
Open Drawing:
Upon selecting "Open Drawing", it will prompt you to choose the file you wish to open. Select the file to open and it will load the drawing.
Open Recent Drawing:
Open Recent Drawing displays all recently opened drawings, select one of these drawings to open it back up.
Once Opening a drawing, you can then select "Save" which will overwrite it to current version.
